Always Thriving
The art of living… is neither careless drifting on the one hand nor fearful clinging to the past on the other. It consists in being sensitive to each moment, in regarding it as utterly new and unique, in having the mind open and wholly receptive.
We are not meant to stay wounded. We are supposed to move through our tragedies and challenges and to help each other move through the many painful episodes of our lives. By remaining stuck in the power of our wounds, we block our own transformation. We overlook the greater gifts inherent in our wounds — the strength to overcome them and the lessons that we are meant to receive through them. Wounds are the means through which we enter the hearts of other people. They are meant to teach us to become compassionate and wise.

Affirmation for a new beginning
"Every day is a new beginning --
Problems and mistakes of yesterday are now just memories of a lesson learned.
I absorb the energy and possibilities of each new day, acknowledge the simple beauty that can be taken for granted,
and look forward to a new beginning of NOW."
~ Affirmations help to affirm positives and counteract negatives
~ Affirmations program the conscious and unconscious mind to focus on what you want
~ Affirmations can help turn negative self-talk into positive self-talk
~ Affirmations can change negative habits into positive ones. .....
It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.
The more often you use it, the purer your aura will become.
Stand in front of the mirror and repeat it to yourself daily. You might feel silly in the beginning, but who cares?! Do it in your own quiet time when nobody is around.

How we spend our days
"Life is a joy filled with delightful surprises
My life is a joy filled with love, fun and friendship.
I choose love, joy and freedom, open my heart and allow wonderful things to flow into my life."
A Daily Affirmation
How DO we spend our days? Most of us are so busy working, watching TV, doing the laundry, playing taxi, shopping, visiting and whatever else it is that takes up our day, that we don't realise that, each day that has passed, each month and each year that has passed, designates the way we spend our whole life. And then we wonder where's the happiness? Where's the thrill? Where's the satisfaction?
It's up to us to create the happiness, the thrill, the satisfaction - if we spend our days creating these things, that is how we will spend the rest of our lives.

Affirmation for What I am
I accept and respect myself for who I am.
I am who I want to be, and only I have the power to change who I am.
You already possess all of the power and resources required to create anything you choose.
To unlock that power, all it takes is a willingness to change.
Affirmations are statements of truth that help us to feel differently to act differently. It is these new actions that create miracles. What could you accomplish if you believed that?
- You are powerful.
- You are talented.
- You are enough.
- You have or can get the resources you need.
- Your past does not have to determine your future.
- You only have to take the first step.
- Affirmations help to affirm positives and counteract negatives
- Affirmations program the conscious and unconscious mind to focus on what you want
- Affirmations can help turn negative self-talk into positive self-talk
- Affirmations can change negative habits into positive ones.
Every thought you think, every word you say, is an affirmation. All of our self-talk or inner dialogue is a stream of affirmations. We are continually affirming subconsciously with our words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating our life experience in every moment. Our beliefs are just learned thought-patterns that we have developed since childhood, many of these work well for us, but others may now be working against us.
It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen. Don’t force yourself to believe it, just say it. All you have to do is repeat it over and over again and the affirmation will quite naturally have an effect. After all, you don’t force yourself to believe that the medication your doctor has given you will work. You just take the prescribed dosage and assume it will. So too with affirmations; just repeating the statement many times will cause it to work for you.
The more often you use it, the purer your aura will become.
Stand in front of the mirror and repeat it to yourself daily. You might feel silly in the beginning, but who cares and who’s listening?! Do it in your own quiet time when nobody is around.
